Every company runs into some roadblocks, but ideally those issues don’t start your first day.
My first day at Oscar de la Renta was when I realized the entire art department— baring my supervisor, a junior designer— had left the team. This was a blessing and a curse as, though I may not have had many opportunities to bring in fresh ideas, I was able to take on more responsibility of the day-to-day tasks.
